Pulang sekolah aku langsung ganti baju dan makan siang karena disekolah aku tidak pernah membawa bekal dari rumah hanya saja membawa uang pemberian orang tuaku sebesar 1000 rupiah saja, dan itupun sudah cukup membeli makanan dan jajan disekolah.
Oh iya disekolah aku suka sama yang namanya pentol tahu yaitu tahu yang diisi tepung kanji dan dimasak kemudian dikasik saos yang sudah dicampur dengan bumbu, rasanya enak sekali, ingin aku mencobanya sekarang.
Setelah makan siang akupun berangkat mencari teman-temanku untuk bermain, entah permainan apa yang akan kami lakukan. Permainan yang kami ciptakan mengalir begitu saja tidak ditentukan oleh siapapun, tiba-tiba permaianan sudah ada dan sudah dilakukan oleh kita, kecuali saat permainan sudah menjadi musim setiap tahunnya. Seperti permaianan layang-layang, kelereng, gasing, wayang, perahu buatan disungai dan perang-perangan.

Namun jika permainan kami tidak ada musiman kadang kami bermain kesungai dan mencari ikan. Sorepun tiba, kami yang sudah cukup bermain kemudian pergi kesungai untuk mandi membersihkan badan kadang kita masih bermain disungai dengan teman-teman yang lainnya hingga pada akhirnya pulang kerumah dan pergi mengaji. In the morning I go to school like a child in his era, the distance between my house and school is about 1 kilometer, quite far if you walk, but basically in those years there were still very few two-wheeled vehicles and almost none so I went to school on foot. just with my friends who also go to school.
Actually my father has a motorbike but I don’t want to go to or come home from school to be picked up by motorbike, because I am ashamed of my friends who were not picked up by his father, if father forces me to pick me up by motorbike then I run to find another way by crossing sugarcane plantations to avoid being picked up from my father, because my father couldn’t pick me up by motorbike, so he brought other school children to ride instead of not getting anyone.
